Marni Fylling
Art Associate
Marni Fylling has a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of California at Davis and a graduate certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the University of California at Santa Cruz. After graduating from U.C. Davis, Marni developed a lab curriculum for introductory biology and authored and illustrated the accompanying lab manual. She also developed, authored, and illustrated a biology lab manual for Thomson Learning/Brooks Cole Laboratory Manual to Accompany Asking About Life. Marni worked at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA for 6 years as a Laboratory Instructional Assistant, setting up and helping teach labs for botany, marine biology, and general biology courses. In addition to her lab work, Marni has been a freelance science illustrator since 1991. Her black and white and color work appear in a variety of publications, books, and museums.
