Leavy is a Museum Operations Specialist
at the Florida Museum of Natural
History (FLMNH). Specializing
in exhibit development and production
for more than 30 years, Bob is
distinguished among diorama enthusiasts.
Bob’s full-scale and miniature
dioramas are on display across
the country. A graduate of the
University of Florida in fine
arts, Bob began his career at
the FLMNH shortly after receiving
his degree. His work has been
featured on a number of television
specials, including Adventures
in Fine Scale Modeling and a short
series on forensic identification
featuring Bob’s facial reconstruction
techniques that he perfected while
working with Dr. William Maples
of the University of Florida.
Although still working for the
FLMNH, Bob has joined Syncreta
Associates to pursue his
interest in building state-of-the-art
exhibits for museums, zoos, and
other academic institutions. |
